EMFACE
EMFACE is a facial lifting treatment combining HIFES (High Intensity Focused Electric Synchronized Fields) with radiofrequency. Together, these technologies reduce sagging around the neck, jowls and marionette lines. They also lift the cheeks and forehead and
improve jawline definition.
How does EMFACE work?
Each session targets key areas affected by facial ageing:
• One applicator on the forehead to treat forehead lines and open up the eye area.
• Two applicators to treat cheek lines and crow’s feet and provide a lifting effect around the nasolabial
folds and marionette lines.
• One applicator under the chin to improve jawline and neck definition.
HIFES technology acts on the SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) and the lifting muscles (zygomaticus, frontalis and digastric). Monopolar radiofrequency improves skin quality by stimulating fibroblasts, increasing collagen and elastin production.
What does an EMFACE treatment feel like?
EMFACE is a non-invasive, painless treatment. It produces moderate muscle contractions and gentle warmth, similar to a hot stone massage. The skin may appear slightly pink immediately after the session.
What does EMFACE treat?
EMFACE targets facial muscles using HIFES technology. Patients may notice fewer visible wrinkles, a more open eye area, restored cheekbone volume and a more defined jawline. The natural-looking rejuvenation of these key facial areas is particularly appreciated.
The heat generated by radiofrequency improves skin quality by stimulating collagen and elastin fibre production, making the skin more supple and firmer.
How long does an EMFACE session last?
An EMFACE session lasts 20 minutes per area. The whole face (forehead, cheeks and jawline) and the neck can be treated during the same session.
What is the EMFACE treatment plan?
The recommended full EMFACE course consists of 6 to 8 sessions, usually one week apart (intervals of 4 to 14 days).
The number of sessions depends on each patient’s age, expectations and muscle response.

What results can I expect from EMFACE?
EMFACE helps improve and firm facial skin. Results are usually visible after the first 3 sessions and continue to improve over the following weeks.
